Salzburg Dine & Wine Guide
Salzburg is extremely rich in high-end restraurants. We have heard an unproven claim that the Michelin-star-per-capita ratio of Salzburg is the highest in Europe; a dubious statement, but the city surely does have a lot to offer in terms of food. This is mainly due to the Salzburg Festival.
What we had in mind for our dining guide, however, was not so much to point out the expensive gourmet restaurants. We want to provide an overview on a range of traditional places with good value for money. So far, we have only a few articles for our dining guide.
Ever since we started working on Visit-Salzburg.net in 2005, we have the best intentions of extending this section. Unfortunately, we havn't had the time yet. Whilst this might change in the future, we hope the following articles will help you to find a restaurant, beer garden or cafe that will meet your expectations.
