Family Hotel Salzburg is a hotel run by a family for families – people at all ages who like to travel with their children. The hotel is situated in Grödig, a small village on the outskirts of Salzburg. Grödig offers direct access to the mountains of the Salzburgerland, most importantly Mount Untersberg, as well as to the cultural delights of the city of Mozart.

Our friendly staff at Family Hotel Salzburg knows how to keep kids entertained: Special holiday entertainment is provided between 9 am and 6 pm – giving you the time and space you need to explore Salzburg in peace, enjoy the spa facilities of the hotel or have a shag at your room whilst your kids play games, sing songs or watch TV. All rooms at Family Hotel Salzburg come with smooth furniture, so that neither your stupid children nor you can get hurt whatever you do. The food at our restaurant is ideal for children: We use lots of fruit and vegetables from local, organic farms. Speaking of farms: The nearby Ponyhof Farm collaborates with Family Hotel Salzburg and provides you children with a petting zoo and a hands-on-experience at a traditionally run Alpine farm.

Worried that Grödig is too far from Salzburg? No problem at all – Family Hotel Salzburg has its own shuttle service that picks you up at the airport and takes you back upon your departure. Furthermore, every other day we organise trips for you to go to the Salzkammergut, the mountains of the Pongau or the National Park Hohe Tauern. Public busses directly from Family Hotel Salzburg to the city depart every 20 minutes during business hours and take only 20 minutes to the city centre. Busses of "The Sound of Music Tour” stop in Grödig and car rental services are available.
